This policy describes how the Video to Live Photo - V2LP iOS app (“the app”) and the website videotolivephoto.com handle your information. The app is operated by Changzhou Cexun Technology Co., Ltd (“we”).
Your videos and photos never leave your device
All video-to-Live-Photo conversion happens entirely on your iPhone using Apple’s media frameworks. The app has no server of its own: your videos, photos, and the Live Photos you create are never uploaded, transmitted, or seen by us. Photo library access is used only to read the video you choose and to save the finished Live Photo back to your library.
No accounts, no personal profiles
The app has no sign-up, no login, and does not collect your name, email address, contacts, or location.
Advertising
The free version of the app shows a single banner ad served by Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads only: the app does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, does not request the advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking, and does not track you across apps or websites.
To serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and cap how often an ad appears, Google may collect device information such as:
- Device identifiers (e.g., identifier for vendor)
- Coarse ad performance data (impressions, interactions)
- Diagnostics (crash and performance data of the ad component)
- General device information (model, OS version, language)
This data is not linked to your identity by us and is not used to track you. Google’s handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from AdMob. Purchasing Remove Ads — Lifetime removes all advertising, and with it all ad-related data collection, permanently.
Purchases
The optional “Remove Ads — Lifetime” purchase is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Your entitlement is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on any of your devices with “Restore Purchases” in the app’s settings.
This website
videotolivephoto.com may use standard analytics to understand aggregate visits (pages viewed, referrer, approximate region derived from IP, browser type). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you.
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone. Ads are served in a non-personalized mode.
Data retention and your rights
Because we operate no servers and hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retain, export, or delete. Everything the app creates lives in your photo library and on your device, under your control. Ad-related data held by Google is subject to Google’s retention policies linked above. Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights regarding data held by Google as an independent controller.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes (for example, introducing personalized ads) would also be reflected in the app’s App Store privacy label.
